 I liked Kiev connection because I knew all the ladies had be interviewed by them and were genuine. It was frustrating trying to arrange meetings with ladies while in Kiev, seems the ladies are often sick or have somthing else on, I met six ladies during my visit to Kiev and am getting married to one of them next month. It is not the perfect system but much better than online dating sites full of scammers

 Unlike mose other reviewers on this agencie I found most ladies who contacted me to be scammers, the number of ladies who decleared their love for me and could not live without me after a few letters was amazing. The agencie always removed ladies profiles when I told my story and there are many genuine ladies but to many scamers for my liking, I found my future wife using another agency in Kiev

 Same as every other dating agency. Elena's models promise lots but deliver nothing. Didn't meet anyone eventhough spent many days on line serching for a partner :-(

 Review: My experience was very similar to that reported by Brianelkin76. I wrote probably 100 postal letters and got ONE response (he said he got none), but when I wrote (many of the same women) through the "Express Mail" service, they ALL wrote back! Now admittedly it is easier and cheaper for them to write back through the Express Mail service than through postal mail, BUT, when I contacted these women through other means (like through another agency where the correspondence manager is a personal friend), I received no reply, even though return post and blank paper for her reply was all included.


When I contacted AFA in Arizona about this, they admitted that they had some issues with their affiliate in Odessa Ukraine (where the girl lived) and offerred to comp me for ONE letter. We exchanged 19 letters in total, but John Adams (AFA's head honcho) offered to comp me for ONE letter, even though clearly this girl was never even writing to me!


I wrote several other women through the Express Mail service and had similar experiences. I would avoid their Express Mail service like the plague.


On the bright side, prior to those bad experiences, I went on an AFA group tour to Kiev and had a great time, but I think it was mostly because it was my first time in the FSU. I later went on an individual tour through a different agency at a time when AFA was conducting another group tour and heard all the same things from the guys in that group: It was fun, but the girls they met at the socials just weren't what they expected, based on the pre-trip hype.

 S7 is Russia's largest domestic carrier, but they do fly some international routes.
I use this airline on a regular basis for flights within Russia, bulk of their fleet are old Airbuses but I think they intend to buy new aircraft in the future.
Cabin crew service is OK but nothing to write home about, they do speak English which is a big plus. Meals almost always seem to come with rice, but they are OK usually.
They don't do in flight entertainment on these internal flights, but they do offer you a newspaper, in Russian of course. Like most airlines now they operate an e-ticket system, I find just handing over my passport is all that is required at the check in desk, think I was asked just the once where I was going.
Best prices when using this airline are found by booking directly through their web site at least a month in advance.
Been delayed a few times, but always in winter and due to the weather.

 Transaero airlines have a code share agreement with BMI (very surprised not to see BMI in this list of airlines) four flights a day between London Heathrow and Moscow Domodedovo. BMI operate the early morning and red eye fights, Transaero the lunch time and early evening flights.
I just flew with them just the once so far on a return flight back from Moscow, I was delayed one hour due to them needing to change airplanes because of a fault with the original one, most of their aircraft are old and well used.
The cabin crew on my flight were excellent so I have no complaints there, but the in flight meal left a lot to be desired and it didn't come with a drink so I had to wait till they served tea and coffee....no alcohol this being a Russian airline.
They have in flight entertainment via personal media centres, but for short haul they charge 600 rub, long haul 1000 rub. It looked OK, but I was just too tired at the time to bother trying it.
I wouldn't go so far as to say I wouldn't use them again, but they are not really up to the standards of our airlines.

Noticed in Ukraine Carlberg Heinekin and Starpromen
miller and Tuborg are all contenders against this.


Has a nice crisp refreshing taste.
The draft has a little less depth than the bottles-though maybe the ones I tasted were watered down !


On an average meeting I will go through 50 bottles of this stuff-so guess I have to say its ok. Smile

 This was the only agency I have seriously used, the interface is very good,and a good selection of ladies to choose from, most of whom seem genuine.They were happy to answer a couple of questions for me over the phone when a lady asked to see a copy of my id ( to make sure I was real, I guess) she reciprocated and sent me hers, so no problem there.
The ability to decide on your own method of communication once you have met someone, makes it a very cost effective agency, so it was basically pay a membership, if you meet someone, we leave it up to you from there, no need to pay for phone numbers, email addresses etc


I met someone very special on Elenas (hence my bias!) so it was the best $99 I ever spent Smile
